The Smoke Shutoff™ power strip. A patent protected power strip which shuts off electricity to attached devices when smoke is detected. Shutting off power can prevent fire in many situations where electrical appliances begin to smolder. We have completed testing of prototypes and a design review from a certification test lab. I’m still looking for a path to manufacturing and would consider licensing to a manufacturer, partnering with a manufacturer or a distribution channel, or a venture capital source to get me into contract manufacturing to sell to the distributors I have lined up.
